I would appreciate hearing from persons who have used
the Point & Click version of the PV-Wave product. I
am interested in knowing if this version requires a
similiar level of sophistication as that required for
the Command Language version, or if it is really much
easier to use. Also, I would like to know if Point &
Click users have found that this version was in some
way inadequate for their application. Thanks.

We are using PV-Wave for analysing neurophysiological
data in our lab and tried both the P&C version and
the command language version. I found the P&C version
really cumbersome since we had a very specific type
of data representation in mind that reflected the
apparatus we were using. It all worked beautifully on
the command language version. I had intended to make
all the routines available in the P&C version but in
the end I couldn't be bothered.

I would say that the P&C version is a good way to see
what PV-Wave might be capable of, but not a wise
investment for any long-term project.
