Hi IDL-world,
3~
I am trying to plot this body (satelite) with solar panels.
they have zero thicknes but both sides of the panel .
have been defined (because they have different materials)
so I use poly_shade to create the body then use
plots to joinup all the polygons on the body.
The trouble is that when I look at it fromn certain angles
then part of the body behind the panels shows up as if
it is in front of the panel. while it is clearly not
because, if you rotate it a little bit, you can clearly see that
panel is hiding evry thing behind it.
Happens only at certain angles.
So I am quite baffled.
Please, can some one throw some light on this?
3~
Really appreciate the comments.
