I am working on a Multimedia programming language research project and I am
implementing the wav format driver for this. I tried to find the
specification of wav files on the web but has not been very successful. Does
anybody know where I can get the full official technical manual or
specifications for the wav format?
Or any segment of source code of reading the wav files would be great
too, if you don't mind to share. Thanks.

There's a nice description of the .wav format at:
