Hello folks

I'm using IDL 4.0.1 on a Win95 system. When trying to execute the SPAWN
command (both from the command line and from within a program), i get
the error message

File IDLSPAWN.PIF not found

though there is a copy of it in the IDL program directory (correctly
referenced by the PATh settings in preferences), in the windows
directory and even in my user directory. IDLSPAWN.PIF itself executes
properly.

Do you have any hints on what i am doing wrong ? Thanks for any
responses!
