How can I get a copy of the current color table into an array? Is it
stored in a system variable? I want to be able to take a BYTARR and
convert it to an image with IMAGE_CREATE, incorporating a particular
color table, and then write it to a GIF file with IMAGE_WRITE. The help
on IMAGE_CREATE claims that the current color table is included by
default, but all I can get is greyscale by the time the GIF is written.

I'm using PV-WAVE 6.10 under Win95.

Thanks for any ideas (or better ways to write GIFs).
