I have a number of C routines which I want to use in IDL by using the
CALL_EXTERNAL routine. The manual is not very helpful in this case
because there is only a reference to Charles Petzold's book "Windows95
Programming"
and an example using a Microsoft compiler.
I don't want to read the whole book to create a DLL with my Borland C
5.0 compiler.

Can anybody give me a short description of the compiler settings I
should use or
an appropriate makefile?
