Hello all,
Either the new documentation is lacking important information or I just
have no clue.
According to the new books on Object Graphics you make a Axis a log axis
with the keyword log. But this is not all you need to do. If you set
this keyword your axis is drasitcally scaled down and no longer fills
your viewport (This is with IDENTICAL viewport sizes and axis
lengths). It's almost as if you have to take the antilog yourself of
your range and 'build' in the log factor to your plots and your axes.
Has anyone else tried making object log plots?
There are no examples of log plots in any of the IDL examples. It
appears in none of the books. In fact the word log only appears once -
as a keyword to the IDLgrAxis object.
