Hi Folks,
Before I say anything else, I want to say how much I have
appreciated the support, patience, and--yes--even the
prodding of so many of you on this newsgroup in my efforts
to get this book finished. I greatly appreciate all of your
help. Thank you very, very much.
The good news is that the book is now available.
I have the very first copy, hot off the press, sitting in
my hands now. The first 200 will be available by the end
of the week, which will allow me to process and ship all of
my back orders this weekend. So if you ordered a book, it's
on its way to you and you should expect it within the week.
For those of you who are interested, you can learn more
about the book, IDL Programming Techniques, by visiting
my web page. I have a Table of Contents there in PDF format
and I am working on having a sample chapter there as well.
