Hello Jeff,
probably your license file was not updated (only license.dat file)
or it is wrong (so you must contact RSInc or your IDL-ENVI supplier).
If your license.dat is OK (also important blank and CR),
another problem could be: you did not kill old license manager daemon before using new
versions.
All theese operation are explained in ENVI 2.7 Installation Guide.
