Raytheon STX Corporation in Greenbelt, Maryland, has an immediate opening for a
Scientific Programmer/Analyst to assist in the ingest, calibration,
characterization, and analysis of Landsat 7 ETM+ data at NASA's Goddard Space
Flight Center.
The successful candidate will analyze data files, develop calibration
algorithms, install data products and analysis results on a web site, and
maintain a data archive. Qualified candidates must have a BS/BA preferably in
a science-related curriculum, and four years' experience; strong computer
skills (UNIX); self motivataion; and the ability to function effectively in a
team. Remote sensing/image processing, strong math/statistical skills, and
experience in IDL, HTML, and Oracle are desired.
