Function for Sun AU or WAV-files [message #11198]

Dear All!

I have tried to read a Sun AU (audio file) with IDL, but I haven't
been successful. All I have is that I should look at OPENR and ASSOC,
but being an novice in IDL and unable to figure out the format of
the au-file, this didn't help me much. I have searched the FAQ and the
archives I could find without success, so I wondered if anybody
has written a function to read AU files, or give me more hints
on how to do it?
