Hi!
I have problems with the backing store when using the
SLIDE_IMAGE-procedure in combination with the RDPIX-procedure.
I'd like to see an image in full size as well as in full resolution.
I have images with sizes like 3000 by 4000 pixels, so I need a
"slide-able" window. I also want to click inside the right image
(in the SLIDE_IMAGE-Window) to get the x- and y-coordinates and the
value on that position. By the way, I tried also the procedure
CURSOR,X,Y,/DEVICE.
Each time when I want to choose a new part of the image, the new
part appears black in the window, although RETAIN=2 !!!
I still get the right coordinates, when I click with the cursor into
the black image, but there's no visible image.
Does someone know the solution for this phenomenon?
