hi.,
Very quickly: Does anyone know how to find the default size of the I/O
Buffer when writing files?? (IDL 5.0 NT etc, etc, etc)
I know that you can set this using the BUFSIZE parameter, when opening
for reading or writing files, but I am curious what my (platforn)
default is.
I guess that this must be defined under one of the system parameters,
but I ,admittedly after only a quick scan of help files etc didn't find
it.
Thanks.
Rich.
