IDL 5.1 & ENVI 3.0 Technical Seminars
Research Systems will present 30 seminars from April through July, 1998,
to discuss new features in IDL 5.1 and ENVI 3.0. These seminars are FREE,
but pre-registration is required, due to popularity. We welcome users of
IDL, ENVI, MatLab, PV-WAVE and anyone who is interested in learning more
about Research Systems' products. Each seminar will last approximately
three hours.
The "IDL 5.1 Technical Discussion" will allow you to interact with a
panel of key development personnel. The panel will include David Stern
(president of Research Systems and author of IDL), senior developers,
engineering managers and product managers. New IDL capabilities will be
demonstrated at the seminars and demo CDs will be distributed to all
attendees.
The "Discover Remote Sensing with ENVI 3.0" seminar will benefit non-ENVI
users who are currently using image processing for remote sensing and GIS
applications. The original developers of ENVI, along with the RSI ENVI
product manager, will discuss and demonstrate ENVI 3.0's functionality
and its uses for a wide variety of data types and applications.
