IS RPC (remote procedure calls) supported on VAX/VMS environment [message #1163]

Dear IDL users,

I want to know what are Remote Procedure Calls?

Whether RSI supports RPC for vax systems.

We have IDL3.0 on vax system, I did not find any rpc library under idl
library.

I did send message to RSI support. I did not get answer.
