Somebody whose message I've just lost proposed to moderate comp.lang.idl,
and somebody else reacted saying that one won't even reach the more than 100
yes votes necessary to do it, because comp.lang.idl is virtually dead and has
less than 100 readers (I do not know whether it's true) and proposed to close
it.

If you close it, could one rename the ever-confusing comp.lang.idl-pvwave to
comp.lang.idl ? I believe the majority of (RSI) IDL users, which are more
than 100, would find that easy.
