I have written to RSI about this bug, and they have acknowledged that it is a
serious bug. What annoys me most is that I was an IDL 5.1 beta tester, and the
problem did not exist in beta 1 or beta 2. It only appeared in beta3 and in
the final release. Hopefully a patched version of 5.1 which fixes this bug
will be released soon.
