Hello,
<P>I've been searching around on some of the IDL astronomy sights, and
was dismayed that I couldn't find a starmap among the files. I've
been diplaying Right Ascension/ Declination data in Lat/Long on the many
map_set files that IDL supports, but they're a little misleading with the
continents, etc. I was hoping that someone has created some sort
of star map, similar to the map_continents procedure, etc. I know
that many astronomers prefer RA in hours, but some use degrees.
<P>Can anyone PLEASE help me out. With the amount of astronomy-related
IDL sites out there, I would expect that someone's drawn a beautiful map,
complete with constillations, etc. However, I can't seem to find
it.
