SAVE files are in an unpublished RSI proprietary format.
They are saved in binary XDR format, however, so that
SAVE files can be moved to different types of machines
and still be RESTORED.

If you figure the format out, please let us know. A lot
of us would like to steal some of that great ENVI code! :-)
