IDL code for multi-dimensional FFT analysis [message #12168]

I know I've seen this question asked before, so hopefully
someone can point me in the right direction.

Does anyone know of or have code to perform
multi-dimensional FFT analysis on time series data? In my
case, I would like to do a space-time analysis of upper
tropospheric winds to determine the distribution of variance
for both eastward and westward propagating waves.

Thanks for any suggestions and/or pointers.
