While the actual contents and cross referencing of the online
help in IDL is exceptionally good, there is one glaring deficit in
the current help browser - the ability to create an editable
hierarchy of bookmarks. I can no longer imagine navigating the web
without such a feature in my browser; it would be nice to see
IDL adopt this paradigm.

A smaller annoyance is the segmentation of help files into different
"books". Why must I switch books in order to read about widgets
instead of object graphics (can I sense legacy code at work here)?

Comments?

Darran.
