It was OS/2 v2.1. IDL appeared to work okay, but apparently it did need a
separate Windows workspace to run on instead of running directly on the OS/2
desktop. (I'm not an OS/2 guru, so I'm not sure I've got the terms right.)

I just saw somebody running it this morning. I'm not sure of the exact version
number, but it was the new version of OS/2. IDL for Windows seemed to be
working okay on it.
