The site mentioned above has long gone. A good start page is

As I hardly know any Emacs Lisp myself, I am simply providing this
site to keep the IDL Emacs mode available. So here comes my regular
call:

If you know some Emacs Lisp (or you are willing to learn it) and
you would like to maintain these files, feel free to give it a try!
(I have some ideas of things to be changed ... ;-)
