I seem to recall Stein Vidar having this problem. As I
recall, he finally got a fix from RSI. I'd check with
them. Something is clearly not right in IDL 5.1. I did
get a notice that IDL 5.1.1 is now available on their
ftp site. Perhaps check that out.
