Hi folks

I'm are running IDL 3.0.1 under Windows 3.1 on a 486-50DX with 16 MB RAM and
MS-DOS 5.0. I have the following problem with some (but not all) procedures:
If I want to run the compiled procedure (compiling gave no problem)
immediately after having started IDL, Windows reports a "protection violation
in module IDL.EXE at 0001:A4F4" error and IDL stops. The only way to make the
procedure run is to compile a different procedure first and to run it
afterwards. In this case everything works just fine.
I think there is nothing special with the mentioned procedures (memory used
and so on). They read some timeseries data from harddisk and plot them on
screen or to a postscript file.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Dan
