I'll be heading through in the Spring looking for a good remote site to
set up an office with an attached house, as well as to scout out locations
for a meeting.

I used a Dye-Sub printer a few years ago that required SRF (Sun Raster
File) formatted files to be sent. I just decided how big I wanted the
picture in inches, opened up a Z buffer to those dimensions, created the
image/plot, then wrote it out with write_srf and spooled it to the
printer. If you want an example I can dig back through some files to
around 1992.
