How can I introduce a 'Interrupt button' into an IDL loop. [message #12932]

Junior Member

I have a program which performs a many iteration loop thus taking lots
of time. Sometimes I need to stop the interative procedure. Is there a
way of introducing a Widget_button on sceen to perform this task.
Cntrl-Break works but is not very elegant.
