Hi!

Am I missing the obvious?? My first Object Graphics program now at least
dispays my plot in a window. But how do I put it into a postscript file?
I know how to do it in Direct Graphics, but don't want to re-issue every
plot command again for the printer, so this is why I started using
Object Graphics.

I managed to create an EPS file using DIALOG_PRINTERSETUP and by
entering an appropiate filename in my home directory. But how do I do
this non-interactively? BTW, it would have helped if RSI didn't call the
routine DIALOG_PRINTSETUP in the Object Graphics manual... it took me a
while to realize the misspelling.

But maybe I was wrong to think that Object Graphics would help me
here... the Postscript output is HUGE. 8 kb in Direct Graphics versus 2
MB in Object Graphics... that's a bit too much. I rememver a discussion
on this topic here a while ago, but I didn't believe the difference
would be so great.
Setting the print_quality kezword to zero does not help either, the file
size nearly the same, and ghostview fails to display it.

So what's so great about Object Graphics then, if I still have to do my
postscript plots in Direct Graphics?
