IDL-benchmarks on IBM RS/6000? [message #13215]

Hi everybody,

we are considering to buy a new IBM RS/6000 workstation, which will
mainly run IDL (image processing, fitting, large datasets). In
particular,
we are looking at the Model 397 and the brandnew model 43P-260. Has
anybody run the IDL-benchmarks ("time_test") on these machines? in
what configuration? Or does anybody know where such information
might be available?
