"Pedagoptimal". I like that word. :-)
Yes, I realize that this is an inefficient way to write
this code and I appreciate your speedups. I do try to write
code that people can understand easily. This is one
of my favorite pieces of inefficient code because I think
it really draws attention to the idea of producing
color "separations".
But I'm going to be incorporating your speedups in my
own production code and I encourage our readers to do
likewise.
