Hi all:

I just tried to draw a simple X in IDL 5.1.1 on a Win95 system and think
I have found a bug.

Try drawing an X centered at 50,50:

window,0
plots,[45,55],[45,55],/device
plots,[45,55],[55,45],/device

On Win95, you get an X whose upper right and lower right arms are one pixel
shorter
than the left arms.

On Unix, the X comes out symmetric.

Is this a known bug? I haven't tried 5.2 yet, perhaps it is fixed, if it is
indeed a bug.

Craig
