troubles with SHADE_SURF in IDL 3.1.1 [message #1375]

Hi there,
we have just installed IDL 3.1.1 on our IBM RS 6550 running under AIX 3.2
Now we have serious troubles with the SHADE_SURF routine:
if we call SHADE_SURF with the Keyword-Parameters AX=90, AZ=0, the output
is truncated on the right side of the graphic window. If we call the
routine again, the bug sometimes disappears, but sometimes not.
Furthermore SHADE_SURF works correctly with all other values for AX and
AZ (e.g. AX=30,AZ=30).
Earlier we used IDL 2.4, and we did not have this troubles.

Does anybody know a solution of this problem?
Any suggestions are welcome,
