Uh, no. If you order from Amazon you might see it, oh,
about this time *next* year to judge from William Connolley's
experience. :-(

On the other hand, my lovely wife and I send your book out
the day we get your order. :-)

Hard to say, really. I've sold a number of books to
PV-WAVE programmers and I haven't heard any complaints yet.
I think the first part of the book certainly pertains to
PV-Wave as well as IDL. It is fundamental graphic stuff.
The second half of the book is the more interesting (at
least to me) and deals with how to write a modular
program that is somewhat elegant and easy to maintain
and extend. While the principles would certainly apply
to PV-Wave, the examples use IDL widgets. Certainly
everything I talk about can be accomplished in both
languages.

I have a 100%, no questions asked, return policy. So
it really doesn't cost you much to have a look. :-)

Cheers,

David

That *is* good news: I ordered one from Amazon (errm, some time ago,
I hope they get their act together soon) and (as DF knows) Amazon
originally asserted that they couldn't order the book! Hopefully
this means that they are now awake...
