Has anyone written an IDL procedure to insert the contents of a string into
the Windows clipboard? (Why would anyone want to do this? Oh, lots of reasons
...) I've just hacked one out using SPAWN, Windows Batch Language, and a
DOS-Windows interface utility, but it's REAL ugly--use it on !PATH and it
crashes IDL! I presume a much better job could be done using CALL_EXTERNAL
plus a suitable DLL, but I don't have the tools to write the DLL. (Or could
one tap into existing Windows DLLs???)
