Dear all,
I've got some pretty nice statistics to do, and would like to do it in
IDL, but after looking in documentation, searching archives and dejanews
and asking people, it seems IDL doesn't have quite what I want.
I'm looking for functions that can give me things like confidence
intervals for a particular situation, p-values for testing whether
linear regression coefficients are significantly != 0, and so on.
There is a pretty straightforward relationship between hypothesis
testing and confidence intervals, so it shouldn't be difficult to do
with IDLs routines for hypothesis testing, and I might do it myself.
Before I start, I figured I would ask if someone has allready done it,
and would like to share their code. I would be grateful if someone would
like to share it with me.
Best,
Kjetil
