rubberband box in an ActiveX drawwidget in VB [message #14358]

Is anyone familiar with how to draw a rubberband box in a drawwidget in
VB using IDL's activeX component? I have tried to modify the
drawbox_widget program from David Fanning's site but have been
unsuccessful.

I have discovered that there are some bugs in the IDL5.2-VB6 active-x. I am
told that they are working on the problem so if you are using this
combination then just wait for the patch or revert to vb5.
