Hi all -
As some of you undoubtedly noticed, the FAQ site (and the rest of my
domain) was down for the count over the weekend. It's back up again, but
at a new location. I changed ISP's last week, and it was not smooth. The
FTP site still needs some updates, so some things may only be available by
HTTP a couple days.
Due to several reasons that noone else would care about, I'm self-hosting
my WWW and FTP sites now. It wasn't my original intention to do it
immediately, so I purchased too little bandwidth for my connection. I've
already requested an upgrade, but don't know if it will happen in an hour
or a week. In the meantime, downloads from the site will probably happen
at a poky 6-8K/sec, but should be much faster when the upgrade is in
place.
I'll put out another message when the upgrade is in place. In the
meantime, those with fast connections or little patience may want to hold
off on any visits. In fact, I'll use that as an excuse not to post the
update to the FAQ. It's not that I haven't completed it or anything along
those lines :-)
Regards,
