Dear all
Just if someone is interested: I once wrote a frontend to comfortably
read/write/process binary files in the standard data format of SEISMIC UNIX,
which is (almost) a SEGY format. (btw. SEISMIC UNIX is collection of seismic
data processing programs freely available from www.cwp.mines.edu).
If someone is interested I am glad to post the data (no web site for the
moment, but if someone wants to integrate this in her/his collection...).
The programs are tested on PV-Wave but should (!!) also work on IDL.
