And that just added one more unwanted posting to the following
newsgroups:
alt.internet.services
rec.arts.disney.parks
comp.lang.idl-pvwave
es.alt.chistes
comp.os.os2.marketplace
sci.agriculture.poultry
za.humour
Please check the Newsgroups line before following up on such
postings, or else you'll just prolong the suffering of people
who read these newsgroups.
The best thing is to shut up, and/or send an *email* to those
who crosspost to the wrong groups, and the problem will slowly
go away with time.

Why don't you send THEM e-mail instead of me for protesting this intrusion?
It was my intent to remind the folks repsonsible for this that cross-posting
is an intrusion. I have every right to speak against it. I was very polite
about it. There was nobody saying anything about it and I felt it was my
duty and right to do so. Shut up I will not! It is not my habit, not will
it ever be, to just shut up and go away. I ignore most of the ignorance
that passes by, and a kind reminder never hurt when somone unwittingly
offends. I do find it very offensive to be read the "act" for making such a
reminder. I am here for the sole purpose of helping and learning about
poultry-rearing practices.

If I had to bitch about all the stuff that offends me on a day-to-day basis
(dogs shitting on my lawn, inconsiderate drivers, pompous, sanctimonious
'christians' etc) I'd soon find myself without any friends. Then I'd have to
resort to sending inane complaints to news-groups to keep my mind occupied.
And apologies to those thousands around the world who are obliged to read
this news group in order to obtain harassment. Hopefully you will soon be
able to obtain harassment in your own country and in you own language. Let
us pray...

Guys,
This type of "humour" is actually offensive to a large population (we
are on air world-wide, ok?) and has no place in a professional user group
such as this.
Cheap shots about religious figures may constitute harassment in many
legal jurisdictions around the world, when the material ends up in company
or government email banks. But it shouldnt be necessary to refer to legal
restrictions - commonsense and courtesy are surely sufficient in an educated
international group.

Hey, just 'coz I'm Christian, don't mean I'm not allowed to read.:-).
Besides, the ones that offend me, I ignore (thick skin ???), the ones that I
think are great, I forward (share and share alike.) But, I agree with
Netuser: If you don't like 'em, don't read 'em.
