I'm following up on my own post in October, in which I wrote:

Well, now it's written, although I couldn't promise that it's perfect.
I wrote it for PV-Wave running on an X-windows terminal from a
Sun Sparc workstation but I think it should work on anything
running PV-Wave or IDL with X-windows.

Since the code is around 800 lines long, I won't post it unless there
are a few people who would be interested in it. Let me know if you
are.
