Greetings,

Has anyone out there written a standard polynomial surface fitting routine
similar to SFIT, but one that can handle irregularly gridded data, taking
into account the x and y co'ords of the points to be fitted.
I should think I could interpolate and scale the data to use with SFIT, or
turn to Numerical Recipes, but if some one has done it already and would
like to share...

PS I did have a look at the Los Almos WWW page and list of routines but with
no luck.
