Hi,

Can anybody tell me what to do to solve the following problem.

When I try to load a colortable, with xloadct for example, the colors
are not correct. When loading "bw linear" I expect a greyscale from
black to white. Instead my colors run from black to green/blue.
Also the "red temperarture" table has no red in it at all.

I have tried to get a red picture on the screen with the TV command and
the "CHANNEL=1" keyword, but then it turns out green. I can get it in
blue (channel=2,which is also not correct), but never in red.

Even the demo starts with a green/blue background. The buttons however
are white. Some demo's can display red on the screen.

I'm running IDL 5.2 on a SGI visual workstation under windows NT 4.0.

Any suggestions (except device, decomposed=0) are welcome.

Best regards,

Marco Konijnenburg

Sorry, Marco. Everything looks normal. I just really
don't have a clue. I still think it has something
to do with hardware, rather than software, though.

Cheers,

David
