IDL 5.2 idlhelp not working under Red Hat 6.0 [message #16448] Mon, 26 July 1999 00:00

I'm getting the following error when trying to run IDL 5.2 idlhelp under
Red Hat Linux 6.0:

/usr/local/bin/idlhelp: /usr/local/rsi/idl_5.2/help/idl.hlp: Permission
denied
/usr/local/rsi/idl_5.2/help/idl.hlp: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/local/rsi/idl_5.2/help/idl.hlp: invalid ELF header

Anyone seen this before/resolved this problem? I've applied the library
path patch recommended earlier and idl and idlde come up just fine, but
the help functions do not work. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Owen Steinert
