Research Systems, Inc. is working to resolve issues related to running IDL
under RedHat 6.0.
As many of you know there are changes under this latest Linux release which
create technical
challenges for software applications. Many of the system libraries on which
RedHat 6.0 was built
and on which IDL depends were changed.

Within the next two to three weeks, we hope to have a version of IDL
available which will resolve
the issues related to RedHat 6.0. In the mean time, we appreciate your
understanding and patience.
