Hello.
Does anyone know how I would get the proper path to a CDROM in MSWindows
and Unix?
Files I need can be either on hard disk or mirrored on a CDROM. I would
like to get the path info from the operating system since the actual drive
letter (in Windows anyways) changes. My own system has CDROM as E: but many
others have it as D: I'm not even familiar with Unix but I would like the
program to run cross-platform.

I was thinking something along the lines of

CDROM_path = getenv(???????)

Dave.
