I sent some messages before about calling FORTRAN subroutines from IDL using
CALL_EXTERNAL on a Sun workstation. There were a couple of other comments I
wanted to make about that.

One thing I found is that it doesn't seem to like statements that print to
standard output. This seems to make it bomb on the Sun.

Also, it's probably best to download the latest version of IDL, and to pay
attention to the files sunos_4_1_1_*.doc in the notes subdirectory. The last
time I checked, the latest version was 2.2.0.
