I am about to unleash (well, post) a routine that
I consider a usefull replacement for plot and contour
(It can print itself or send itself to a .ps file, but
has rotten color and error handling).

Per one request, I want to add legend generation capability,
and ideally would like to use one of the already available legend
routines.

I found several legend.pro but different versions,
or completely different programs, one legend2.pro, and leg.pro.

Any opinions on what is the most usefull version?

Oh, and don't hold your breath for the release. A week or two
(of mostly testing) at least.
