Hi Folks,
It's a long story and too embarrassing to go into, but
my IDL 4 Example Program archive got accidentally
deleted from my FTP site a couple of weeks ago. :-(
I'd like to restore the darn files because--believe
it or not--there are quite a few people still using
IDL 4, but I don't have them on my current machines.
I probably do have them on an ancient Mac I retired
a couple of years ago, but that machine decided a
week ago that it was too tired to boot up anymore.
(It feels about young kids and games the way I
feel about young kids and tennis racquets.)
So, is there anyone here who maybe downloaded the
files in that ancient archive and who could send
them to me? I'll send a book (if you don't already
have one) to the first person who responds. :-)
