If anyone is interested, I modified a version of Tk to communicate
with a custom RPC interface I constructed for WAVE and now IDL. It's
very simple in syntax and you must know WAVE to send commands. If
anyone's interested I can package it up. So far it's only been tested
on an SGI with Cfront 3.0 and Tk 3.x.
