Hi IDL'ers

I know this is not an ENVI list - but I guess a lot you may actually be
using ENVI or have another solution to my problem.

My problem is rather simple : I have bought one of these new Landsat 7
scenes geo-oriented using the orbital characteristics. Since I thought that
HDF was supposed to be a great exchange format I asked for that.

Big surprice today then when I tried to read the data using ENVI HDF reader.
It turned out that ENVI only outputs image coordinates, and not the UTM
coordinates as I would have expected.
The current solution I can see is to extract the HDF files to ENVI files and
then manually add the map projection information - but that seems not very
fancy !

Do any of you have a better solution ?

Best regards Michael
